STAMF Welcomes Rock On!

llama

Rock On! is unrelated to Kantu, Keno, Maximo, and most U.S. suri bloodlines. Tami Lash purchased Rock On! at the 2004 LFA sale for his correctness, size, color and fiber type. He has amassed an amazing show record with minimal showing! In 2004 he won each halter class he entered along with being Reserve Champion at the Regionals and placing in the top 3 at the Grand Nationals.

With limited showing in 2005 he captured 7 more first place finishes along with another top 3 win at the 2005 Grand Nationals! He has earned his ALSA Halter ROM and is an ALSA Halter Champion! He has also proven himself as an incredible sire!! We have been pleasantly surprised with his stunning offspring! Exciting, stretchy framed cria, great fiber, on strong substantial bodies! He has sired 6 females and 2 males along with having sired the largest cria born on our farm.

Dutch Flats Rock On was born 5/18/03 (Chileno Canaletto #136 x W. Llindo L'eggs). He is ALSA Halter Champion, and 2004 and 2005 Grand National Halter Class Top 3 Winner. We look forward to breeding him and hope you'll come meet him in person.

Champion Breeds

Second Time Around is home to over 30 llamas, many of which have been awarded numerous regional and national awards. They are recognized nationally for their quality, disposition, conformation and championship pedigree. From carting, performance and halter to guarding and pet quality, there is a llama for everyone.

Long term commitment to the llama and buyer

At Second Time Around, our passion for our Llamas extends far beyond the sale. As part of the purchase, buyers receive a two-day training course covering some of the basics of proper care of these great animals. The course will center on herd management and training of the llama. In addition, all llamas leave the farm with some performance training.

Buyers can feel at ease about their purchase knowing that the will leave with the confidence and peace of mind that the staff of Second Time Around Mini Farm will be only a phone call away, should questions or problems arise. The wonderful creatures are like part of our family and we would like to be sure that they receive the highest quality care after they leave the farm.

When purchasing a llama from us through our sales program, you will receive a two-day stay at the farm. In these two-days, you'll receive knowledge from a professional. The buyer will learn about herd management and training; although every llama that leaves our farm is trained for halter and some for performance.
