About Our Farm
The Moses family has owned the Washington, Georgia property that houses the farm for many years, but owner Vicky Moses converted the property into its present form in the late 1990's. Visitors have come from all over the country to see the unique 13.5 acre property in Washington, Georgia, stay at the Bed and Breakfast, and purchase their award winning llamas. In addition to llamas, the farm is also home to over a dozen English baby doll sheep, donkeys, goats, two pot-bellied pigs, rabbits, a Scarlet Macaw and a peacock.
The Second Time Around Mini Farm is a safe haven for many animals who have been abused. Several of the animals on the farm were rescued from abusive situations and nursed back to health on the premises.
“Our experience with Second Time Around was one we will never forget. Vicky and her staff clearly love the animals and love what they do. They are truly second to none.”
Vicky's life and passion is for the animals, and it is shown in the quality of their care. All of the animals are fed a strict and healthy diet ensuring the long-term health of the animals. Vicky trained under the world renowned llama expert, John Mallon, and has put his methods into practice on her farm. Her professional staff puts their years of experience into the care and comfort of these magnificent creatures.
Our farm is located 1.5 hours East of Atlanta, Georgia between Athens and Augusta.
